Featured Cruise Line: Avalon Waterways
Part of the Globus family of brands, Avalon Waterways is backed by more than 80 years of experience in planning itineraries and guiding vacations around the world. And as experts in travel, Avalon continues to raise the bar when it comes to river and small-ship cruising by creating truly unique getaways on one of the youngest fleets on the waterways today. Travelers gave our river cruise vacations a 98% satisfaction rating on post-river cruise surveys. In 2004, excited by the promise river cruising offered vacationers, Avalon entered river cruising determined to invigorate the experience. Inspired to create a different kind of river cruise experience - Avalon embraces and celebrates everything special about the travel style. With the launch of their very first ship, Avalon's inspired design innovations became the new standard, including the introduction of floor-to-ceiling windows and French balconies on two decks of every Avalon vessel. They were also the first to bring a larger stateroom with deluxe hotel-style amenities to an entire fleet. more

Featured Destination: Alaska - Gulf Northbound
Instead of turning around and heading back, the ship will continue North into College Fjord for spectacular Glacier views. Some ships visit Valdez before ending in Seward. Passengers are then taken by bus to Anchorage. It is here they can choose to continue a land tour or fly home. The Alaska Cruise season begins in May and ends in September. Although July and August are the warmest months to experience these incredible sites, fall and spring are the most fun, the most beautiful and the savings are the best. There certainly is no shortage of Alaska Cruises to choose from. We encourage you to do a research before choosing your trip and encourage you to contact one of our Alaska Experts to help you if necessary. We will go out of the way to make sure that Alaska is a destination you'll never forget. more
